Our Nursery
Welcome to Scholars Childcare Day Nursery and Pre School.
Scholars childcare provides a warm and welcoming environment for all our children, parents and staff. We aim to offer a friendly home from home atmosphere that provides a safe and secure provision for children from birth to five years. We opened in 2017 as a 38-place setting offering excellent facilities, secure outdoor play areas and substantial parking. Due to high demand and our reputation for providing excellent childcare we expanded our provision to 80 places to support the needs of the community.
We continue to provide activities and resources in an enabling environment allowing children to flourish and develop in their own unique way. Providing a caring and secure environment where all children are encouraged to achieve their full potential – physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually. Our environments are designed to support children to learn how to take risks without being made to feel a failure.
We support our children to gain independent thinking, self-directed and social responsibility regardless of race, gender, class, or ability. We acknowledge that education starts from birth and parents are their child’s first educators. We also recognise and value our children for what they bring to our nursery.
We are open from 7.30am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday, 51 weeks of the year.
